Kent - Head of Construction

The construction arm of Line and Design was developed in 2001 by Kent Fife (Lynley's son) following increasing demand by design clients for total landscape project management and completion. Passionate about the outdoors, and already working for a number of years in landscaping whilst completing his degree in sports science, Kent relished the opportunity to develop the construction business.  Over the last decade he has acquired specialist skills in landscaping and construction and has a keen passion for creating outdoor entertaining areas.  As part of this he designs and builds woodfired pizza ovens and original outdoor furniture made from timber and rock.  Over the years the team have worked alongside a number of swimming pool companies and played a role in their construction.  In 2014 Line & Design purchased a Hamilton swimming pool company and has fully integrated swimming pool design and construction into the business.  It has been a very succesful integration with the completion of a number of top quality and stunning swimming pools.  Kent leads a team of seven.  He is keen to help his team learn under his supervision and has become a part of the New Zealand Horticulture Industry Training Organisation (Inc) scheme enabling employees to gain official accrediation in this field.  Together the design and construction teams work to deliver clients a total landscape package whilst also offering their services independantly from each other.
